Mike's first opportunity in the film business was during the heyday of music videos when he helped start FYI, an indie video company, and made over 30 music videos for every record label in the city. 

In 1989 he founded NEO ART & LOGIC.  Over the next 20 years NEO developed and produced over thirty feature films.  Working with Universal, Miramax, Paramount and The Weinstein Company.

Mike helped create six film franchises AMERICAN YAKUZA (Russell Crowe, Viggo Mortenson, Viginia Madsen) THE PROPHECY (Christopher Walken), DRACULA 2000, FEAST and PULSE and the feature documentary series TREKKIES.

Other productions include the critically-acclaimed INFINITY, Matthew Broderick’s directorial debut, PHANTOMS, starring Ben Affleck and Peter O’Toole, as well as A WRINKLE IN TIME for ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney. 

In 2005, Mike was featured on BRAVO’S Third season of PROJECT GREENLIGHT when he produced FEAST and in 2006 delivered the J-horror remake PULSE both released theatrically through Dimension Films.  In 2007 he produced the dark comedy HE WAS A QUIET MAN starring Christian Slater, William H. Macy and Elisha Cuthbert. 

2009 marked the release of multiple sequels to FEAST and PULSE as well as completion of the indie romantic musical WALLS starring Elisabeth Moss.

STRIKE ACCORD, INC. is his new production company that he began with his wife Lori.  With a mission statement to create socially and spiritually conscience films, Mike and Lori hope to apply their vast experience to movies and music that matter.  The first feature film in development is the life story of singer/songwriter Keith Green from the book written by his wife Melody, NO COMPROMISE. 

The film is tentatively scheduled for a summer of 2010 start date, shooting in Los Angeles and Texas.
